Don Davey is founder and senior portfolio manager of Disciplined Equity Management. He holds both Bachelors and Masters degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He was the first, and is still the only, student in NCAA history to be named to GTE's prestigious Academic All-American team for four consecutive years. His extensive background in engineering and statistics forms the foundation of the quantitative approach employed by the firm.
After graduate school, Don played nine seasons in the National Football League with the Green Bay Packers and the Jacksonville Jaguars. In 1998, he founded his investment advisory firm to provide his teammates with a superior money management solution to traditional Wall Street firms. Disciplined Equity Management now manages portfolios for corporations, charitable foundations, pension plans, and high net worth individuals from all over the country.
