Valerie Covey is a CPA, devoted working mother, and loving wife. She has excelled as a successful professional while maintaining a wonderful relationship with her husband and children. She was married to Mark Covey in 1985 and has been blessed with three boys: Matthew, a high school junior; Zachary, an 8^th grader and Joshua, a 4^th grader. Since their move to Georgetown in 1994, Valerie has been actively involved in the PTA and as a member of the First Baptist Church in Georgetown. She was instrumental in starting and coordinating their AWANA program and held a leadership role as AWANA Commander for 5 years. While enjoying her children as a stay-at-home mom and actively volunteering at school and church, Valerie worked to maintain her CPA status and keep her license current.

Valerie Covey is an active member of the Williamson County Republican Party, Georgetown Area Republican Women, The Republican Club of Sun City, Williamson County Republican Women, and Georgetown Chamber of Commerce. Valerie Covey demonstrates strong leadership, integrity, conservative values and professionalism and would be a great asset to the county if elected County Commissioner.
