The Gorilla Gold Grip Enhancer is a towel that is impregnated with a light resin.  The product is promoted to improve feel and control for a pitcher without contaminating the ball.  Other softball organizations have approved the use of this product.  When queried NFHS had indicated approval for the use of this product.  However, this drying agent product, if used by a pitcher must remain in the pitcher’s pocket.  Bagged powdered resin must be left on the ground behind the pitching plate.


 
Approved manufactured drying agent that is included on the list published by the ASA, may be used by the pitcher. The Resin must be left on the ground and the approved drying agent in the pitcher’s pocket. Effect: If any other substance is found in the pitcher’s pocket the pitcher shall be ejected.”
