District Directors – The term of office for a district director is two (2) years, or until a successor is duly elected and qualified. A Director may be reelected once, but cannot be elected for more than two (2) consecutive two year terms; however, after being out of office for a period of one term, he/she may be reelected. Directors of a single chapter districts shall serve a term of one (1) or two (2) years,  depending upon the term remaining at the time of their election. Odd numbered Districts shall have elections in odd number years. Even numbered Districts shall have elections in even number years.
     
Declared candidates names must be submitted to the TASO State Office no later than March 1st. (Nominees will be notified of their nomination status by the TASO State Office before ballots are prepared.)
     
In any district where there is only one declared candidate, no election will be conducted and the one candidate will be declared the winner.
     
Ballots will be made available to individual members in Districts conducting elections no later than April 15th
     
Ballots are due in the TASO State Office no later than. May 1st.
     
Election winners will be notified in writing by the TASO State Office by May 15th.
     
Winners will take office on June 1st

V: Election of Officers and Directors

TASO members in good standing are eligible to vote in District DirectorElections. However, they may only vote in the District Director election in whichtheir Home Chapter is located.

(i) The softball division board may fill a vacancy in any office except president.If there is a vacancy in that office, the Vice President shall become the President. If there is a simultaneous vacancy in the Office of President andPresident, the vacancies shall be filled by a majority vote of the divisionDirectors.
